Examination Text | Thomas Rickards aged about 51 years removed by an Order of Removal from the Parish of st Leonard Shoreditch in the County of Middlesex to the parish of St Martin in the Fields upon his Oath saith That he was bound an apprentice by an Indenture for Seven Years to Wm. Rickards (his Uncle) a stay maker in New Street in the said Parish of St Martin in the Fields and there served his said master for the space of three years and then his said master died and his Mistress gave him up his Indenture, That he never kept house rented a tenement of ten pounds by the year paid any parish taxes nor been a yearly hiredm servant in any one place for twelve months together since he quitted his said late Master's service.
