Examination TextGeorge Slade aged thirty five years lodging in Plough Court in hartshorn Lane in the Parish of Saint Martin in the ffields Saith he is by Profession a harpischordmaker and learned that Business of his Father Benjamin Slade who kept a house next the Sign of the George in George Alley in York Buildings twenty five years paid thirty pounds by the year Rent and parish Taxes and dyed while he kept that house in Lodgings at Chelsea and that his mother kept that house two Years and one half after his ffather's Death and never rented ten Pounds by the Year or paid any parish Taxes since Saith he was born in George Alley aforesaid and that he never was a yearly hired Servant or bound an Apprentice Saith he kept a small house in Moor Yard in St Martin's Lane two years paid eight Pounds by the year Rent but no parish Taxes and that except the said last mentioned house he never kept any house or rented the value of ten pounds by the year Saith he was marryed to Mary his wife at the Bull and Garter at the ffleet thirteen years ago and hath by her two Children to wit Elizabeth aged nine years born in Moor'sYard aforesaid and Richard aged born in Plough Court aforesaid Sworn the day of Before
