Examination Text | Mary Sams aged thirty six years lodging in Queen Street in Southwark Saith she is the Wife of Benjamin Sams now at home to whom she was marryed at the Fleet above Fifteen Years since that he is by Trade a Blacksmith and served his Time as he hath informed her to one Jones then and now living in Hungerford Market in this Parish and that his Apprenticeship expired about the Time of their Marriage and that he never kept House or rented ten Pounds by the year since nor ever paid any Tax for the Poor Saith she hath by her said Husband four children to wit Benjamin aged thirteen years never an Apprentice Anne aged four Years William almost three years and Elizabeth seven Months all at home |
