Examination Text | Jane Aubrey aged 57 Years in the Workhouse of and in the Parish of Saint Martin in the ffields on her Oath saith that she is the Widow of Samuel Aubrey who Died about 32 Years ago to whom she was Married at the Parochial Church of Aldermanbury in the City of London about 33 Years ago, that after the Death of her said Husband having no Children living was a yearly hired Servant with Mr Channon a Cabinet Maker in Saint Martin?s Lane in the Parish of Saint in the ffields within the Liberty of Westminster in the County of Middlesex for the space of Eighteen Months all under one hiring at the Yearly wages of sd Guineas diet and Lodging, quited the same about 6 Years ago and since that time hath not done any Act to gain a Subsequent Settlement. // Sworn the 5th Day of Augst. 1786 Before N Forster // Jane Aubrey her Mark // BBWd // P |
