| Examination Text | Mary Spencer aged 45 years in the workhouse of and in the Parish of St Martin in the Fields upon her oath saith that her husband Thomas Spencer [is] now in the workhouse aforesaid, hath heard him say [sic] he was bound apprentice by indenture for two Mr Windam a Shoemaker in Round Court in the Parish of St Martin in the Fields for seven years and there served his time out, but can't tell when he it expired, that she was married to him at the Fleet five years ago and has one child living by him to wit Ester aged 19 months now with this Examinant. Taken this ninth day of September 1747. |
