DescriptionConsidered the Cases - of Mary Grayson, 16 years old, her Parents dead, her Parish unknown. She has lately lived in Clerkenwell, & obtained a scanty subsistence by picking up bones &c, sleeping in the passages & staircases of houses. Admitted. And of Letitia Jones, 17 years old of Calne Wilts. Her Father a cloth Manufacturer lives now in Leeds. Upon his leaving her, she lived as servant at the Pagliano Hotel, Leicester Fields, whence she was seduced by a French Officer. She became acquainted with the above Mary Grayson & was with her in Saffron Hill, when they were apprehended for stealing a piece of Bacon; They were convicted, judgment respited & recommended by the Court to Refuge. Admitted, Admitted.
