taken this 23d. Decr. 1799 in
the Parish of St. Margaret
at the House of John Plant< no role >
the Sign of the Kings Head
in James Street Westminster
before Anthony Gell< no role >
Coroner for the sd. City and
Liberty touching the Death
of Thomas James< no role > an Infant
aged about two Years then &
there lying dead as follow
to Wit.

John Baptist Serny< no role > House Surgeon to
the Westmr. Infirmary being sworn
deposeth as follows to Wit that on
Thursday last (the 19th Instant be held 12 o'Clock) the deceased
was brot. to the sd. Infirmary by a Women
name unknown, who informed me that
she rushed into the Room where the died No. 23 St Anne [..]
was when she found [..] his Singer Cloaths on him
in flames which she extinguished
immediately
