taken this 12 decr 1799 at
the House of Jno Steel< no role > the Sign of the Green Coal
Boy Tothill Fields touching the Death of David
Jenkins

Carpenter being sworn saith that he was on the Seafold
which is created for the Repair of St Margts
Church he was about 11 feet tum the
Deced who was a Mason Labourer to
Saunder two other Men aho Labourer to
Mr H Saunder & Mr Saunder himself
were on the scafold Mr Saunder to the
Deced & the two been were morning
Stone on the st. Seafold wch. was in the name
of the Shunt the Seafold was about
3 feel broad & ment a cross the Church
[..] their in the mount Breadtt of much
Seafolding the Deced had an Iron Crow
in his hand endeavouring to ant the House
in the (enter the Crow slipped the over
balanced himself & fell to the bottom what
35 feel he hatched upon two poles before he
