Informations of Witnesses taken
this 5th. March 1799 at the
Dwelling House ofTaylor the Sign of the
Pine Apple in William Street< no role > in the Parish of St. Margaret
on view of the Body of Dennis Stevens< no role > then & there lying
dead 4013

Alexr. Cowley< no role > Castle Street Air Street Piccadilly Journeyman Carpenter
to Mr Saunders being sworn saith that Yesterday Morning
between 9 & 10 o'Clock he was it work in
the [..] belonging to Mr Saunders in
Pimlico or Brewers Yard with the Deced & 3 others
he never complaint he was standing
opposite to this Dept planing some more & instantly
dropped down. this Dept. immediately went
to him Assistance but he never stoke a ground
& [..] fetched about 4 heavy Sight the Dept
sent for medical Assistance immediately but to us Effect
as he was certainly dead before the Doctor
arrived. he has no doubt but that he
died a natural Death by the visitation
of God.
