to wit

An Inquisition Indented, taken for our Sovereign Lord the
King at the House of John Tranfield< no role > the Sign of the Trumphant Chariot Piccadilly
in the Parish of St. George Hanover Square within the Liberty of the Dean and Chapter of the Collegiate Church
of St. Peter. Westminster , in the County of Middlesex , the Seventh day of August 1798
in the thirty eighth Year of the Reign of our Sovereign Lord GEORGE the Third,
by the Grace of God, of Great-Britain, France, and Ireland King, Defender of the Faith,
and so forth, before Anthony Gell< no role > , Esq . Coroner of our said Lord the King for the said City
and Liberty, on View of the Body of Evan Jones< no role > then and there
lying dead, upon the Oath of the several Jurors whose Names are here under written, and
Seals affixed, good and lawful Men of the said Liberty, duly chosen, who being then and
there duty Sworn and Charged to enquire for our said Lord the King, when, how, and by
what Means the said Evan Jones< no role > came to h is Death, do upon
their Oath say that the said Evan Jones< no role > a Private in the
Regiment of Grenadier Heavy Horse on the twenty ninth day of July
in the year aforesaid at the Parish and in the Liberty aforesaid
To Wit in the Ride in Hyde Park being then and there
exercising his Horse It so happened that accidentally
casually and by Misfortune as the said Evan Jones< no role > was turning
his Horse short round the said Horse fell down upon the Foot
of him the said Evan Jones< no role > by means whereof his said foot
was then and there out and bruised In which said Cuts and
Bruises he the said Evans Jones did Languish & languishing
did live until the fifth day of August in the year aforesaid : On
which said fifth day of August in the year aforesaid at the Parish &
in the Liberty aforesaid at the St. George Hospital he the said Evan Jones< no role > of
the said cuts and Bruiseshe the said Evan Jones< no role > died And so the Jurors
aforesaid upon their Oath aforesaid did do say that the said Evan Jones< no role > in manner & by the Means
aforesaid accidentally casually & by Misfortune came to his Death & not otherwise.

IN WITNESS whereof,. as well the said Coroner as the said Jurors, have to this Inquisition
set their Hands and Seals the Day, Year, and Place first above written.
