taken this 3 August 1792
of the Dwelling House Mr. Adams the Sign of
the Roe Buck in old James Street Grosvener Square in
the Parish of St. George Hanover Square

Davis Wolf< no role > landlord of No. 15 in Old James
St . Grosvener Sq : being [..] Sworn saith
the deced has lodged at sd. House about
[..] but this Deponent kept it only
8 Months the deed has usually been
in liquor he was alwayd a quite
Man that yesterday Morning
about 7 o'Clock he went out about &
returned about 11 in the a Cord in his
hand this Dept. Came home about
1 o'Clock & abot writting the House
the deced wife Cried out Murder
the Dept. went up into the deced: Chamble
wch nine serve Person had cut a
Cord one and of wch was abt. the Deced
Reck & the and Was this In the
Apt of the Bedsted this Dept. Cannot
think he was out of his timed.
