Informations of Witnesses taken
this 18 April 1798 at the House of
Thos Dolling< no role > the Sign of the George in Jermyn Street
in the parish of St. James on view of the Body John
Field
< no role > then & there lying dead.
Ann Hodgings a lodger at Mr Martins No 35 in Jermyn Street
being sworn saith that the Deced has kept 1d. House for
14 yrs. but became a lodger there abt 3 Months
Part this Dept has loged there abt 14 Mouth
the Deced Pluation is a Constable at the
open House the has seen him is liquor
at some times but not ferquently the Deced
went out on Monday Eveng last & returned
about 10 O'Clock the spoke todid not seehim but
he made no reply he appeared very white
& she supposes him to have been ill the
was standing upon the 3d floor landing & the
Dew was in this 3 Steps of her his wife
was at the Stop of the Star Case & no other
Person in an Inst. to sell over the Banis [..]
to the Ground he was immediately taken up
& every necessary assistance given him he
remains sensible for about 2 hours & tie
between 12 & 1 O'Clock the carmot say whether
he was in higher or not
