to think Mr Pepper should return & find
her quite unable to do any thing
she lost a Child about 1 & 1/2 yr past this
Dept. thinks she has never recovered
it she observed a few days past a
Man out of her Mind & asked Mrs
Phillips if she did not think she
resembled him - this Dept is of
Opinion that the deced must have
been deranged in the Mind. this
Dept was sent for yesterday Morng
abt 12 o' Clock & forced the Bed Room
Door wch was locked. he saw the Deced hanging
by a Cord one end of wch was round
her Neck & the other end tied to the
Iron Rod of the Bed. there were
not the least Signs of Life when she
was cut down
