taken this 8th. day of July 1797 in the
Parish of St. James Westminster at
the House of John Dixey< no role > the Sign
of the C [..] and P [..]
of the Man in the Moon Vine Street
Piccadilly before Anthony Gell< no role > his
Majesty's Coroner for the said City and
Liberty touching the Death of
John De Bue< no role > then & there lying
dead as follow to Wit

James Phillips< no role > at No. 2 James Street Westmr
working Jeweller being being sworn deposeth that he hath
known the deceased (who was also a working Jeweller)
fifteen Years and that he was a sober hard working
Man that for the Space of six Months last past
he has [..] been in a strange Way very low and
Melancholly and frequently talked [..] so [..]
incoherently that tell how to answer him and
he is of opinion that he was at different times
deranged in his Mind and so much that he
almost determined not to walk out with
him any more, that about half part twelve
at Noon this day he was informed that
