taken this 10th June 1797 in the
Parish of St. Margaret Westmr
at the House of George Ward< no role > the
Sign of the Kings Head in James
Street Westminster before
Anthony Gell< no role > his Majesty's
Coroner for the said City and
Liberty touching the death of
Robert Hayley< no role > then and there
lying dead as follow, to Wit

John Wilson< no role > surgeon at the Westmr.
Infirmary being sworn deposeth that
on or abot. the 22d. of March last [..]
the deceased was brought to the said Infirmary having
received a blow hurt on the back part
of his head by a Fall occasioned by a
Chair having been drawn away from him
as he was sitting down by the Fire Side
at the Northumberland Arms in Scotland
Yard that he was trepann'd and every
other means used there to remove the [..]
Pain in his head occasioned by the said Fall
