Husbands ill State of health and before
she went she desired one of the Lodgers
to assist the deceased at times and order
anything for the deceased that she should
desire and have occasion which the
Lodger promised to do and for which this
Deponent [..] Week out of the
said Lodgers Rent That this Deponent
returned home from Pentenville on
Monday the 27th. of Feby last and
found her the deceased much the same
as to her State of health being meant
as before Christmas that the deceased
had Friends who allowed her twenty Pounds
pr Annun which was paid to her
Quarterly and some of the Friends used
to call upon the deceased from time to
time and pay the sum to the deceased
That about ten o Clock on Thusday
Night last this Deponent went into
her Room when the deceased gave her
six Pence and desired her to get her half
a Quarter of Brandy and a brown loaf and
said she should put the Brandy into her
[..] it would otherwise
make her Stomach Ach that about
nine o Clock the next morning this
Deponent went to the Room of the deceased
and took the Brandy and a hot brown
Loaf and called to the deceased who was
on the Bed but she did [..]
which alarmed this Deponent who went
to Mrs Ryan who lodged on the first Floor
and told her she believed the deceased was
dead as she heard no [..] when she
went into her Room and called to her
whereupon they both went up stairs into
her Room and perceived that she was
dead upon which this Deponent went
immediately to her Brother in Law Mr Fish
and acquainted him with the Circumstance
and he came and perceived that the deceasd
was dead and not finding the Key of the
Door her pte Padlock and fitted on the
Door and locked it and took the Key with him
and
