of St. Peter, Westminster
, in the County of Middlesex
, the sixth day of December 1796
in the thirty seventh Year of the Reign of our Sovereign Lord GEORGE the Third,
by the Grace of God, of Great-Britain, France, and Ireland King, Defender of the Faith,
and so forth, before

and Liberty, on View of the Body of

then and there
lying dead, upon the Oath of the several Jurors whose Names are here under written, and
Seals affixed, good and lawful Men of the said Liberty, duly chosen, who being then and
there duly sworn and charged to enquire for our said Lord the King, when, how, and by
what Means the said Robert Matthew Leeson came to h is Death, do upon
their Oath say that the said Robert Matthew Leeson on the Fifth day
of December in the Year aforesaid at the Parish Knitte Liberty
aforesaid To Wit in Rochester Row
as he was then and there standing
close by another Box who was greasing a Cart Wheel belonging

Row aforesaid It so
happened that accidentally casually & by Misfortune the said
Cart Wheel fell down & beat the said Robert Matthew Leeson into
& against the Ground thereby then & there giving unto lain the said
Robert Matthew Leeson one Mortal Mortal on the back part of his
head: Of which said Mortal wound be the said Robert Matthew
Leeson as the Westminster Infirmary
on the same day, died
And so the Jurors aforesaid upon their oath aforesaid, do
say. that the said Robert Matthew Leeson in manner and
by the Means aforesaid accidentally casually & by Misfortune
came to his Death & not otherwise and that the said Cart
Wheel was moving to the death of the said Robert
Matthew Leeson and is of the Value of one Shilling and
the property & in the possession of the said
