this 9th. May 1796 at the House
of Mrs. Grant the Sign of the
white Horse Knightsbridge Parish of St. George Hanover
Square touching death of James Murchy< no role >

James Lawson< no role > Footman to had offory
being sworn, saith the Deced was meil with Ld: op [..]
in the Capacity of Groom of the Chamberforthat he
has lived wth Ld offory he believes near 5yrs.
& this Dept. has met there about 18 Months
that he observed frequently the deced to have
been very low in Spirits & has often dealer
it to this Dept. he was generally more
Search oppressed with this heaviness & [..]
of Spirits & has said within Dept. that
was so bad he could destroy himself he
has been attended by the Evans, a [..] : of
the faculty, for some time on accot. of that
Disorder this Deponent particularly remarked
that on Tuesday last a great Difference in the
Appearance of the deced. in the Evening of that
