18th. day of April 1796 in the Parish of
St. George Hanover Square it the dwelling
house of William Camp< no role > the Sign of the
Punch Rowl in Trn [..] Street Mews
South Street Grosvenor Square before
Anthy Gell< no role > his Mighty's Coroner
fer the said City & Liberty touching
then death of George Reid< no role > then and
there lying Read as follow, to Wit,

Thomas Johnson< no role > of South Shut Grocer being
Sworn deporth that on Saturday last the 16th Inst. about
5 minutes past 4 in the afternoon Mrs. Miles
the Landlordy of the Houp No 2 in South that
where the dead [..] lodged desired he would go
up stairs into the apartment of [..] the
deceased in the 2 Floor Front Room as she had heard the Report of [..] Pistols and when
he enterd the Room he saw the deceased sitting in
Chair by the Window and when he came up to him
he percieved that his right hund hury down and a
Pistol lying on his knees and upon further observation
he pereseaed that rome blood opend from the top of his
headanddown his Not where [..] advised Mr
