Informations of Witnesses taken
this 17th. day of February 1796 in the
Parish of St. James Westmr. in the said
City & Liberty at the Dwelling House
of Co [..] Stuart the [..] of the Robin
Hood in Charles Street St. James's Square
before Anthey Gell His Majesty's
Coroner for the City & Liberty aforesaid
touching the Death of Mary Rose< no role > then
and there lying dead, as follow, to Wit,

Martha Field< no role > House Maid at Lord Dartmouth
in St. James's Square being sworn deposeth
that [..] paid to will the deceased [..] up every morning and that. about 2 part 7 o'Clock on Sunday morng
last the 14th. Instant this Deponent unlatched
the Door of the Room where the deceased lay and
called to her twice, and an she did not answer she
pushed open the Doorwhenand saw the deceased
lying on the Floor, whereupon She went in and
called her again by her Name and took hold of her
hand and finding it quite cold she let go her hand
and went and informed the rest of the Servants of
in what State she found the deceased, that she had put
off her Gown and Apron but it did not appear
that
