count Garden before Anthony Gill< no role > this
Majesty's Coroner for the said City & Liberty
touching the Death of Wm. Allen< no role > then and
there lying dead as follw to wit

Elizabeth & Elmer< no role > of No.26 Exeter Street being
sworn deponth that about 8 o' Clock on Saturday
evening last the 24th. Octr. Inst. her Daughter [..]
turned of Eleven Years went as usual take same
Bolls to the deceased who lodged in the two Wm. [..]
back Room where the saw him knowling, as she
thought, upon one side of the Bed [..]
[..] her when the spoke to him she was
frightened and ran down Stairs and informed this
Deponent when there upon went up Stairs
immediately and found his in the Situation
as mentioned by her Daughter, and she (not
observing that he was hanging by the Neck)
took hold of his hand and likewise felt his
hair both of which were somewhat warm
and as she spoke to him and he did not answer
she was also alarmed and called to a Lodger
in the adjourning Room who came there
[..] and said she would not touch him
but called to another Lodger in a Room
beneath who came up and discovered that he
