Informations of Witnesses severally
taken & acknowledge on the behalf of our
Sovereign Lord the King touching the
Death of Harriot Beard< no role > at the Dwelling
house of John Woodbridge< no role > the Sign of ye
three Compasses in the Parish of St. George
Hanover Square in the City and Liberty
aforesaid on the sixteenth day of Septr.
in the thirty fifth year of the Reign of
our Sovereign Lord King George the Third
before me Anthony Gell< no role > his Majesty's
Coroner for the said City and Liberty
then and there taken on View of the Body
of the said Harriot Beard then and there
lying dead , as follow, to Wit.

William Jones< no role > Brother to the late Michael
Jones
< no role > Keeper of Hyde Park being sworn deposeth
that about 4 o'Clock on Monday Morning best
near the wind an of the White House by the Sign
of the Serpentine River and about ½ past 6 she
was taken out of the said Serpentine River [..]
by this Deponent and two other Men when she
was drowned and had no Signs of Life and this
Deponent and the said other two Man took her to
the Boat house and they heard that she had a
sister who lived in Mount Street [..]
