was informed by the Person that fetched him<lb></lb>
that he was dead, and when he went into the<lb></lb>
Chamber where the deceased and to sleep, he<lb></lb>
saw him lying on his back in Bed as if<lb></lb>
aslup, whereupon this deponent first<lb></lb>
examined his Countenance which evidently<lb></lb>
gave the Idea of death he then attempted<lb></lb>

one of his hands out of bed and felt<lb></lb>
for his Pulse but found he had none &<lb></lb>
that his Arm was very stiff, he then<figure rend="mark"></figure>

with Difficulty open'd his right Eye which<lb></lb>
was perfectly insensible & had lost its lustre<lb></lb>
entirly from all which Circumstances he<lb></lb>
had reason to believe that he had been dead<lb></lb>
