and further deposeth that a Mortification<lb></lb>
took place the day after the deceased was brought<lb></lb>
into the said Infirmary which gradually<lb></lb>
increased and that a Consultation was<lb></lb>
held on Monday last, when it appeared that<lb></lb>
every means had been before tried to stop the<lb></lb>
Mortification but without Effect, and that<lb></lb>
an Amputation of his right Leg would not<lb></lb>
be of any use towards saving his Life, that<lb></lb>
he languished until over four o'Clock on<lb></lb>

that he then tried twice to get up behind the<lb></lb>
said Carriage but failed, that in endeavourg<lb></lb>

time he imagined the<lb></lb>
Carriage Wheels either went over a Stone<lb></lb>
on one side or sunk down in a Rest on the<lb></lb>
