near ½ an hour-they went all there away about
about 8 'Clock or a little after this Dept. is sure
he was perfectly sober & he believes the other were
alsotho.they had not come on more than ¼
of an hour before Edwd. Strow proposed to change
hisHorOar with the Deced but Edwd. Strow
slipped a little & this Dept. immediately assisted
him-the deced at this time rising all of a
sudden the Boat upset & this Dept. swam
ashore-Edwd. strow was taken up by another
Boat the Deced was never seen that night
but was taken up Yesterday Morning
near to this Place-this Dept. in clearly
of Opinion it was accidental
the Deed was by Trade he believes a
Hair dresser-

That James Stageman< no role > on the 18th. of Augst. 1794 was
accidentally drowned in the River Thames by a
Boat upsetting in which he was
