to wit,
An Inquisition Indented, taken for our Sovereign Lord the
King at the House of William Jaques< no role > Sign of the Adam and Eve in York Street parish of Saint Margt
within the Liberty of the Dean and Chapter of the Collegiate Church of St. Peter, Westminster ,
in the County of Middlesex , the tenth day of June 1796 in the thirty fourth
Year of the Reign of our Sovereign Lord GEORGE the Third, by the Grace of God, of
Great- Britain, France, and Ireland, King, Defender of the Faith, and so forth, before Anthony
Gell
< no role > , Esq. Coroner of our said Lord the King for the said City and Liberty, on
View of the Body of Jane Parker< no role > then and there lying dead, upon
the Oath of the several Jurry whose Names are hereunder written
and Seals affixed

good and lawful Men of the said Liberty, duly
chosen, who being then and there duly sworn and charged to enquire for our said Lord the
King, when, how, and by what Means the said Jane Parker< no role > came to
h er Death, do upon their Oath say that the said Jane Parker< no role > not being of sound Mind
Memory and Understanding but lunatic and distracted on the Sixth day of June in the
Year aforesaid, from and out of a certain two pair of Stairs window them and there being
in the Chamber of Apartment in the Dwelling House ofWalter situate in Brooks
Court in the Parish of Lambeth in the County of Surrey did violently cast and throw
herself to the Ground, By means of which said Casting and Throwing, She the said
Jane Parker< no role > did then and there receive several Mortal Wounds on dives Parts of
her Body and broker several of [..] which said Mortal Bruises and broker Ribs she the said Jane
Parker
< no role > at the House of the saidwinter and also at the Westminster Infir-
-mary did langish and languishing did libe: until the ninth day of June
in the year aforesaid: On which said ninth day of June in the Year aforesaid
at the Infirmary aforesaid of the said Mortal Wounds and Broker
Ribs did die. And so the Jurors aforesaid upon their Oath aforesaid
do say that the said Jane Parker< no role > in manner and by the Means
aforesaid, not being of sound Mind Memory and Understanding but
lunatic and distracted did kill hereself In Witness where of as
well the said Coroner as the said Jurors have to this Inquisition set
their hands and Seals the day Year, and place aboveMentioned
