Informations & Witnesses taken the 4th. June 1794 in
the Parish of St. Clement Danes at the Dwelling
house of George Gardiner< no role > the Sign of the Taylors Arms
in Clements Lane before Anthony Gell< no role > His
Majesty's Coroner for the sd. City & Libertytouchg
the Death of James Neele< no role >

Elias Ward< no role > of Clare Market Butcher being sworn
deposeth and saith that between 7 & 8 o'Clock on
Tuesday Morning the 3d. Instant the Diseased brought
a Quarter of Bee [..] from the Slaughter house near
Clare Market to this Deponents that in the said
Market and threw it down upon the Block and
immediately said I am very ill and struck with
Death, whereupon this Deponent and others placed
him in a Chair when he asked for some thing to
drink, and a little Brundy was administered to
him, but he could not swallow any thing,
whereupon they sent to Mr. Darley an Apothecary
in Carey Street when sent his Assistant who open'd a
Vein but very Little Blood issued there from and he
expired immediately.
