Informations of Witnesses taken
this 15th. day of May 1794 in the
Parish of St. George Hanover Square
at the House ofLaws the Sign
of the Green Dragon in Swallow Street
in the Parish of St. George Hanover Square
before Anthony Gell< no role > in Majesty's
Coroner for the said City and Liberty
touching the Death of George Nash< no role >

John Ring< no role > of Swallow Street Surgeon being sworn
deponent and saith that on Wednesday the 7th. of
May Instant to ever sent for betweenabout2 and 3 o'Clock
in the Afternoon to the deceased who he was informed
had received a violent Blow on the right side of the Belly by running against the
Handle of a Machine which is used for flatting
Gold Work and this deponent immediately ordered
his sssistant to bleed him which he did and likewise
ordered him Medicines and used every other
means to prevent an Inflaurmation taking
Place , but without the wished for Effect for
the deceased lay in languishing Slap notwithstand
every Effort untill Friday morning the 9th.
Instant when he expired. between 5 and 6 o'Clock
and this Deponent is of opinion that the Blow which
he received by the twinkle of the said Machine
was the Cause of his death
