An Inquisition Indented, taken for our Sovereign Lord the King at the house of
Francis fisher< no role > Known by the Sign of the George in Grafton Street in the Parish of Saint Anne Soho within the Liberty of the
Dean and Chapter of the Collegiate Church of Saint Peter, Westminster , in the County of Middlesex , the twenty sixth day of
November and Adjourned to the twenty seventh day of the same Month in the Thirty fourth year of the Reign of our Sovereign Lord George the Third, by the Grace of God of Great
Britain, France, and Ireland, King Defender, of the Faith, and so forth before Anthony Gell< no role > , Esquire , Coroner of our
said Lord the King for the said City and Liberty on View of the Body of a New-born Female Child, then the there
lying dead upon the Oath of James Firth< no role > , Thomas Wheeler< no role > , Walter Day< no role > , Henry Berridge< no role > , Richard Elland< no role > , John Billings< no role >
John Brown< no role > , George Fife< no role > , John Summons< no role > , Samuel Palmer< no role > Peter Turner< no role > , Robert Zealey< no role > , and Thomas Butler< no role > , good and
lawful Men of the said Liberty, duly chosen, who being then and there dully sworn the charged to enquire for our
said Lord the King, when, how, and by what Means the said new-born Female Child came to her Death
do upon their Oath say, that Anne Arbor< no role > alias Harbor< no role > now or late of the Parish aforesaid, within the Liberty aforesaid
Single Woman , on the Twenty fourth day of November in the Yeat aforesaid, being then and there big with the said new
born Female Child, afterwards, to Wit, on the same day and Year, at the Parish aforesaid, in the Liberty aforesaid
the said Female Child, alone and secretly from her Body, by the Providence of God, did bring forth alive,
which said Female Child, by the Laws and Customs of this Kingdom; was a Bastard. And that the said
Anne Arbor< no role > alias Harbor, not having the Fear of God before her Eyes, but moved and seduced by the Instigation
of the Devil, afterwards, to Wit on the same day and Year, with Force and Arms, at the Parish
aforesaid, in the Liberty aforesaid, in and upon the said new born Female Child, so alive, and in the Peace
of God and of our said Lord the King, then and there being, feloniously, wilfully, and of her Malice
forethought, did make an Assault. And that the said Anne Arbor< no role > alias Harbor, her the said new born
Female Child, did them and there take into both her hands, and her the said new born Female Child
into a certain Privy or Necessary-House there situate, then and there, feloniously, wilfully, and of
her Malice forethought, did violently cast and throw down; By means whereof she the said new born
Female Child in the Soil or Filth then and there contained in the said Privy or Necessary-House
was then and there suffocated and smothered; Of which said Suffocation and Smothering, She
the said new born Female Child them and there instantly died. And so the Jurors aforesaid,
upon their Oath aforesaid, do say, that, the said Anne Arbor< no role > alias Harbor her the said new born
Female Child, in manner and by the Means aforesaid, feloniously wilfully, and of her
Malice forethought, did kill and Murder, against the Peace for our said Lord the King, his
Crown and Dignity, And that the said Anne Arbor< no role > alias Harbor at the time of the committing of
the Felony and Murder aforesaid, or at any Fine since bad no Goods or Chattels, Lands or Tenements
within the said Liberty or elsewhere, to the Knowledge of the said Jurors.

In Witness whereof as well the said
