There is a Boy by the Name of Nicholas Mcdonald< no role >
about Twelve years of Age Died in the Work House this Morning
at 2, O' Clock, he was Decayed away from the School Boys of
St. Giles's in the Fields as they was Coming from Church about a
Twelve Month Back by another Boy and taken to a William
Davidson
< no role > a Chimney Sweeper in Strand Lane he there Continued
with him Some time till he was brought to the Work House the 9th
Inst. in a most shocking state by two Women he remained in the
Work House till Monday 23d Inst. before we Could get any information
from him, from which it appeared that he was not heated in a
proper manner, the Boy as he says in Bed is four feet night
the Calf of his Leg Measures 5 Inches, the Thigh to wards the upper
Part Measures 7 Inches Round, the Arm 4 Inches Round towards
the Shoulders upon Complaint being made at the office in Bow
Street the Master was apprehended, was Examined and Committee
for a Reexamination, the [..] therefore that an Inquest
may be taken as soon as Possible in order that the Master May
be Brought to Condign Punishment
