Information of Witnesses taken
this 27th. July 1793 in the Parish of
St. John he Evangelist Westminster at the
Dwelling house of Lionel Galley< no role > the
Sign of the Kings, Arms in Bowling
Street Westminster before Anthony
Gell
< no role > his Majesty's Coroner for the
City and Liberty aforesd. touching the
Death of a man unknown then
and there lying dead as follow
Vizt.

John Collet< no role > of the Roebuck Mill Bank
Westmr. being sworn deposith saith
That about nine o'Clock this morning
the 27th. July instant a Watchman called
to this Deponent that he had found the
deceased floating on the River Thames
between the Sign of the Spread Eagle
and the Roe Buck and when this
Deponent came to the water side he
perceived that he had laid the deceased
upon the prices of Timber floating in the
Water, that he appeared to have been
drowned a considerable time as he
was putrified and his hands very sudden
that the [..] Waterman told this Deponent
