he was deranged, And this Deponent is of opinion
that the Causes of the Dearangement was from embarrassed
Circumstances

John Barker< no role >

George Kennard< no role > of the Hummums Hotel in
Covent Garden aforesaid Gent . being Sworn Deposeth
and saith that on Friday last the Deceased came to
this Deponents House in the Morning and went to Ned as Described by
the Witness James Jenkins< no role > that in the Evening about
Seven o Clock the Deceased not getting up this Deponent
went up to call him but knocking at the Door several times without
receiving any Answer he listened and heard a groaning
that soon after a Ladder was procured and a person
got in at the Window and opened the Door further
Deponent when he went into the Room found the
Deceased laying in the Bed but not undressed [..]
except his Shoes & Coal & Waistcoat, that the Deceased
appeared black in the face and almost expiring that
Mr. Wilson a Surgeon was immediately sent for who
attended and administered such [..] as he thought
necessary but without Effect as he dead in about on
Hour
