whereupon after break fast Cabol. ½ past 8/ she
returned to her warking and when she came
home to dinner he was not at home and when
she came home from work between 5 & 6 she
found him at home when he looked very
melancholly and desired he to get him a
paint of Bur which the did and [..]
to drink several which he returned and
Shook his head and [..] he had met with no
work that day she asked her to go to Mr.
Murphy in Palmers Village to see [..] if he
should come there the next any and when
she returned [..] upon [..] opening the Chamber
door the perceived a great smoah and also
saw him lying on the Floor and much bl [..]
about the Floor upon which being greatly
terrified she Creamed out and [..] down
Steirs and upon the whole she is much
inclined to think he run not in his right
mind

being sworn saith this about 6 o'Clock
last Night whilst she was drinking Tea he
heard [..] the report of a Gun and immediately
afterwards

afterwards James Puyman< no role > who was with this Deponent
went to the next door where he lodged as well as the
deceased and returned and told this deponent that
the deceased hed not himself whereupon they
went together up Stairs and found the deceased
lying dead on the Floor, and they percined that there
was a Poker fixed in the Grate and a thing to the
Tricker of [..] the deceased his gun or piece where upon
they examined his body and found that a Adden Bullet
or Ball had passed in at his left Brust and art
of his shoulder and went against the Ceiling
and that his Shirt and [..] are both Singed
and this Deponent is of opinion that by means of
the String fixed to the poker and Fricker he
effected his Death
