put to Bed immediately and [..] a Surgeon
was sent for to come and examine the Wounds but
this Deponent did not stay in the Room until the
Surgeon came

George Hollings< no role > of Mount Street Assistant to Mr. Gunning a Surgeon
in Banlington Street being sworn saith that he went
with Mr. Gunning on Tuesday the 26th of March and
found that the deceased had received a great contused
Wound on his Forehead but then the was no apprearance
of any Fracture and the deceased was perfectly sensible
and confined so for the Space of five days and then
there appeared Symptoms of Derangemt. whereupon
an opening was made across the Forehead above the
Wound when they discovered thta the Skull was
fractured and then it was trapannd: & in three several
Places, and a Quantity of extravasated Blood was
found under the Bone that the deceased grew more
until Tuesday Morning [..] this 2d. instant at half past 11 o'Clock and then expired &
this Deponent is of opinion that his Death was
occasioned by the kick of a Horse which he was or
had been trimming.
