not have been the Occasion of the Death of the said Mary
Bright
< no role > had she not have been afflicted with a Dropsy.

John Martin< no role > no 47 Half Moon Alley Bishopsgate Street ,
being sworn saith that

Jane Tollett< no role > no. 10 Crw [..] Friars, Tower Hill , being sworn
saith that she is a Friend and Acquaintance of the said
Mary Bright< no role > that about twelve months past she called
to see the said Mary Bright< no role > who told her, that she
was extremely with the Dropsythis Deponent called
to see her again about five Weeks past, when she
found the said Mary Bright< no role > still very ill with
the same Diseasethe Deceased had some Bruises
under her Jaws, but none on her Breasts this
Deponent saith, that the Deceased did never
complain of any pain arising from the Bruises
but continuing very bad with the Disease aforesaid
the said Mary Bright< no role > requested that this
Deponent would remain with her, & this
Deponent accordingly did until the time of her
Death which happened on Friday last
the Sixteenth Instant, this Deponent attended the
Deceased for the last five Weeks, during which
time she never mentioned any ill usage she had
received from any persons, and this Deponent saith
that the Deceased grew gradually worse from the
time of her coming to her untill the day of her
HealthDeath, & this Deponent is of Opinion
she catacity died of the Drepsy.

Verdict
That Mary Bright< no role > died by the visitation
of God in a natural way, to wit of
a Dropsey & not from any Bruises
[..] given to the said Mary
