which the deced was put and the other 3 Gentln. getting
into the Coach the Coach drove off as this Dept his and from
the Gentn. who gave order to the Coachman [..]
That at the time the deceased was put into the Coach
hewas decedhad no Signs of life That this Dept
Understood there had been a [..] the deceased
& one of the Gentn . but which this Dept and not been
save as above said nor who the Parties were this Dept
could not been nor the Cause of dispute but that the
same had injincted in liquor, the said Gentn. Serving
to endeavour to keep it [..] That the said
Gentn. appeared to be in liquor Thatthe timefrom the
time of the Pistols going off till the Parties get into the Coach
was at half on him And this Dept further saith
that at the time of his going up to the Deceased he
fount a layer Pistol lying near him [..] which was
fellow to it lying at the distance of abt. 10 or 11 Yards
of it and which this Dept took pass: of And this Dept
further saith there was no ther Person Present
besides the sd. Gentn. this Dept & Corporal Clapham

The Verdict Wilful murder by a Person or Persons
unknown.
