Informations taken this 18th. day
of May 1792 at the Parish of St. George Hanover
Square at the Dwelling house of William Grant< no role > known
by the Sign of the White Horse before Anthony Gell< no role >
Coroner for the City and Liberty of Westminster touching
the Death of a woman unknown then and lying dead .

William Bridges< no role > No 19 Charlotte Street Rothbone
Place Staymaker on his Oath saith, he was going in to Company with Wm Jadan< no role > to Kensington yesterday
there Hyde park abr 12 o'Clock they not a youth who told him
he believed a woman was drowning in the Serpentine River Where on
Wm Jadan< no role > ran immediatly to the Head of the said river
and jumped in Swam, after the Deponent also followed him unto the
River & they both shortly dragged her out when there appeared
to be life in her there was no person near the River at
this time but soon after a Gent on Horseback whose name he
is informed is Benton & who said he was a Governor the
George Hospital he desired thisYoungDeponent of the other young
Man would remains with the woman till he has
procured two other Men to convey the deced to the
Hospital He returnd. until the two been with where
assistance this Deponent & Wm Jadan< no role > carried the
Deced to st Georges Hospital Ryth time they had
not her to the Hospital she appeared to the dead
