Informations taken 11th. May 1792

At the House of Jonathan [..] Pouton< no role > Known by the
Sign of theMarquis of GranbyGrandby Head in Knightbridge in
the Parish of St Margarets Westmr touching the
Death William Smith< no role >

Richardson Clark< no role > him wh brey [..] under Butler to Let [..] ville was walking
at about 1/2 past 5 o'Clock Yesterday Morning in Hyde park to
Saw the deced lying in the Servantine River the Parish of St Margtt westmr there abot
5 Yds from the shore to whereupon he called Mr
Wood a Servt of Capt Buckel who was on the River
in a Boat he came toupon Dep [..] in the Assistance of Mr Woat
not the deced not to shore who appeared to be decd &
stiff & not to have been long in the water nor did that
appear any make of Violence on the Body

on his Oath Saith Surgeon hath Know the
deced many Yrs that the Wife of the deced told
him on Sunday 10th April1st Maythat the deced had
had an Apopletic thoFit wheet had
rendd. Mens Speechless & sucesseless wheel upon the
Deponent went in Emplloy Set rem fordy to see himStair
and in the course of Conversation the Deced appeared
