Informations taken this Second day
of April 1792 at the Parish of St. George
Hanover Square within the Liberty of
Westmr . in the County of Midsex upon
on Inquisition touching the death of
Thomas Chapman< no role > lying dead in the
said Parish Liberty and County.

John Heavy side< no role > of George Street Hanover
Square Surgeon on his Oath saith That
on Friday Evening last the thirtieth of
March Lord Gallway sent to Dept. desiring
him to some to Servant who had an Accident
He went and found that the Deced had fallen
from a Ladder on the Stones of the Area of
Lord Gallways House in Somerset Street
Portman Square in the Parish of St. Mary
lebone , That on Examining his Head he found
a considerable Tumor on the back part of it
the Deced being Senseless Dept. thought it right
to remove the Scalp suspecting the Skull
to be fractured finding it so he immediately
Trepanned him, there was a great Quantity
of Blood under the Skull and as appearance
of more Mischief under the dura Mater
which he divided and let out more Blood
from underbreath it the Deced continued
Senseless until Six o'Clock Yesterday, Morning
the first instant and then died, in consequence
of the Fracture and Injury abovementioned

last Dept. had been out and was come home
and rung the Door Bell Says tha Thomas
Chapman
