Informations taken this Seventeenth
day of January 1792 at Parish of St.
George Hanover Square within the
Liberty of Westmr . in the County of
Midsex upon an Inquisition touching
the death of Samuel Clark< no role > lying dead
in the said Parish Liberty and County

John Gunning< no role > House Surgeon at St. George's
Hospital in the Parish of St. George Hanover
Square on his Oath Saith That on Saturday
last January the Fourteenth, the Afternoon
Samuel Clark< no role > the Deced was brought to said
Hospital as an Accident says that on
Examining the Deced he found a large Wound
on the upper part of his right thigh the Bone
being fractured and [..] very much
Says that the Deced told Dept. that he was
Sliding upon the ice with another Boy who
tripped him up and that a Carted was
coming by at that time and that the
Wheel of the Cart went over his Thigh
and he reced the Wound of Dept. believes
the Deced died in the Hospital on the
Sixteenth Instant, That Deced told im
that he called to the Carter to stop the Cart
that the Carter made some chandler but Dept. is not
sure whether he said that he would not
or Could not stop the Horses.
