Informations taken this Twenty
Seventh day of December 1791 at the
Parish of St. James within the Liberty
of Westmr. in the County of Midsex upon
an Inquisition [..] uching the death of
Sarah Hewett< no role > lying dead in the
said Parish Liberty and County

Sarah Thompson< no role > Servant to Philip Francis< no role >
of St. James Square in the Parish of St James
Westmr. Esqr . on her Oath saith That Yesterday
afternoon about three o'Clock Dept was carrying
a Box from the Wa [..] into her own Apartment
and on her Way up Stairs perceived a great
above in the House, and found the Deced
lying on the stai [..] with har Cloaths on Fire
which were [..] almost Burnt off and herself
very much Burnt in did upon har Arms
Breast and Stomach Says that the Deced
was carried into the Kitchen where
she remained Speachless for some time
and afterwards told Depts. and other
Servants That she was warming herself
in the Room over the Laundry with her
Back towards the fire when her Cloths
took Fire and she was much frightened
and Burnt, Says that the Deced was alone
when her Cloaths took Fire, and Dept.
believes that it was Merely Accidental
says that the Deced died about half
past Six o'Clock that E [..] ing
