Informations taken this Twelfth
day of December 1791 at the Parish
of St. Margaret Westmr . in the County
of Midsex upon an Inquisition
touching the death of James Scott< no role >
lying dead in the said Parish Liberty
and County

William Greaves< no role > of Downing Street in the
Parish of St. Margaret Westmr . Surgeon on
his Oath saith That Yesterday Afternoon
between four and five o'Clock this Dept. was
fetched to the Deced who was lying upon
the Floor in the Taproom of the King Head
in Downing Street in the Parish of St.
Margaret Westmr . Says that some Men
were rubbing the Deced who had fallen
in the Canal in the Park, Says that
he rubbed the Deced with Says for a
considerable time and used other
Means to restore him, and bled the Deced
who had some Warwth in him but all
means proved ineffectual, the Deced having
bean too long in the water.

That Yesterday Afternoon being informed
that three young man ware Drowned in
St. James's Pa [..] Dept. Went there and with

and other Waterman bintging a Boat towards
