of the County of Midsex }


Informations taken this thirteenth
day of October 1791 at the Parish of St.
Anne with in the Liberty of Westmr . in the
County of Midsex upon an Inquisition
touching the death of a new born Female
Child lying dead in the said Parish Liberty
and County.

John Baxter< no role > Grave digger to the Parish
of St. Anne Westmr . on his Oath saith
that Yesterday Afternoon there were three
Burryings at St. Anne's Burying Ground
when they ware over Dept. went into
the Church that his on [..] a Boy soon after
followed himto this Dept. and told him that
somebody had left a Still born Child
upon a Tomb stone in the Church Yard
upon which Dept. went and saw it
lying thereupon a Stocking and a
Paper Box by her, out of which the
[..] Child (which was a Female Child)
had been taken by the Boys as Dept.
believes, Says, that the Child was
dead but Dept. Observed no Marks of
violence thereupon, the Deced
being in a Putrid State.

Surgeon on his Oath saith, that Yesterday
Evening Dept. was desired by Mr. Brown
and the Sexton of St. Anne's Parish to
Examine a Female Child said to be found
upon a Tomb Stone in the Church Yard of
