Informations taken this first day of
October 1795 at Knightsbridge in the
Parish of St. Margaret within the Liberty
of Westmr. in the County of Midsex upon an
Inquisition touching the death & Edmund
Edwards
< no role > lying dead in the said
Parish Liberty and County.

William Paxley< no role > of South Audley Street in the
Parish of St. George Hanover Square Baker
on his Oath saith, That yesterday Morning
walking in Hyde Park Dept. was informed that
a Hat had been found upon the Serpentine River
in Hyde Park , Says That this Morning between
six and Seven o'Clock Dept. went into
Hyd. Park again and suspecting that a
Person was Drowned in the Serpentine
River That he threw a small Drag
into the River and it catched hold of
the Deceds Coat Thoave, (the Cloaths being on)
and pulled the Deced to the Share in the
Parish of St. Margaret Westminster
Says that no Marks of violence appeared
on the Deced, nor did he appeared have
been long Drowned,
