day of August 1791 at the Parish of St
George Hanover Square within the
Liberty of Westmr , in the County of
Midsex upon an Inquisition [..]
the death of William Buckmire< no role > lying
dead in the said Parish Liberty County

James Port< no role > [..] Lodger at W. 23. Great
Poultney Street St James Upholsterer on his Oath
saith that on Wednesday [..] Aug. 17th.
the Afternoon the Deced [..] Buch [..]
this Dept. and two other Shopman agreed
to go to Wash themselves in the Serpentine
River in Hyde Park in the Parish of St
George H [..] Square Says that at Six [..]
they all went together into Hyde Park
and into the Serpentine River, Says
that the Deced swom almost across the
River when the People on Shore
gave the Alarm of a Man being [..]
and Dept. saw the Deced Sui [..] and
went towards him, Says that a Man
Dived soure time but could not they felt
the Deced, but brought him out the
Yesterday as Dept. was informed says
that there was no Person in the Water
near the Deced when he [..] and
believes it to be merely accidental
