Copy of Informations taken this twenty Fifth day of April
1791 at the Parish of St. Martin in the Fields within the Liberty of
Westmr . in the County of Midsex upon an Inquisition touching the death
of Ann Price< no role > lying dead in the said Parish Liberty & County.

Charles Cole< no role > of Back side in the Parish of St. Saviour Southwark
waterman on his Oath saith That on Saturday last the twenty third
Instant between two and three o'Clock in the afternoon Dept. was rowing
his boat across the river Thames from Black Lion Stairs to Pepper Alley
on the other side Says that he saw a Barge loaded with Coals sailing
up the river Thames when this Dept. called to the Man in the Barge
but cannot Say whether he was heard the Wind being high and the
tide flowing, Says that Ann Price< no role > the Deced & Four other Persons
were in the Boat and that the Barges head ran against this
Depts. Boat, and stove the boat that the head of the Boat struck the
Deced's Face and she Fell down into the river the Boat then Filled
with water the Deced sunk and was not found until the next day
Says that he believes the Bargeman had no intention to injure any
Passenger in his boat but the Deceds death was hereby accidental And
that the Bargeman appeared to be Much Concerned for the Accident Says
that he endeavoured to keep his boat out of the way of the Barge
