Informations taken this Eighteenth
day of December 1790 at the Parish of
St. Margaret within the LIberty of
Westminster in the County of Midsex
upon an Inquisition touching the
death of a Man whose Name is unknown
lying dead in the said Parish Liberty & County

John Scott< no role > House Surgeon at the Westmr.
Hospital in the Parish of St. Margaret Westmr
on his Oath saith That on Wednesday last
to said Hospital as an Accident having
a Wound on the top of his Head
Say that all proper Means were used
in the Hospital but Deced died there
on Thursday the Sixteenth about five
o'Clock in the Afternoon, Says that after
Death the Deced Head was opened in
was presence when a violent fracture
was discovered extending from the
Crown of the Head to the Base on the
left side which was the came of Deced's
Death Says that on Wednesday Evening
a Gentle man called upon Dept and
informed him [..] that from the top of a
Chimney of a House in Scotland Yard
fell upon the Deced Head as he was
passing along with his Cart
