Year of the Reign of our Sovereign Lord GEORGE the Third, by the Grace of God, of
Great-Britain, France and Ireland, King, Defender of the Faith, and so forth, before

good and lawful Men of the said Liberty, duly
chosen, who being then and there duly sworn and charged to enquire for our said Lord the
King, when, how, and by what Means the said Adam Wein came to
his Death, do upon their Oath say That on the Eleventh day of November in the
Year aforesaid the said Adam Wein was driving a certain Hackney, Coach in the
Public Road or Kings High way at Knightsbridge
, in the said Parish of St. George
Hanover
Square
within the Liberty and County aforesaid, It so happened that the Horses drawing
the said Coach took fright, and that the said Hackney Coach was overturned in the said
High way, by means whereof the said Adamwein then and there Accidentally Casually
and by Misfortune received a Mortal Fracture in his Collar bone on the Right side and
Bruises in his Body of which said mortal Fracture and Bruises he the said Adam Wein
from the said Eleventh day of November in the Year aforesaid until the Fourteenth day of
the same Month and Year at the Parish and in the Liberty and County aforesaid did
languish and languishing did live on which said Fourteenth day of November in the Year
aforesaid at the Parish and in the Liberty and County aforesaid he the said Adam Wein of
the Mortal Fracture and Bruises aforesaid did die. And so the Jurors aforesaid upon
their Oath aforesaid do say that the said Adam Wein in manner and by the means aforesaid
Accidentally Casually and by Misfortune came to his Death and not otherwise.
