Informations taken this Twenty
third day of June 1790 at the Parish
of St. Margaret within the Liberty
of Westminster in the County of Midsex
upon an Inquisition touching the
death of William Hinckson< no role > an a
Prisoner lying dead in Tothill Fields
Bridewell .

John Brown< no role > a Prisoner in Tothill Fields Bridewell
on his Oath saith That William Hinksman< no role > the Deced
has been Prisoner there about Six or Seven Weeks.
appearing to be in Health when he was brought in,
and continued so about three weeks, and then
complained of a Head ach, and a Fever soon
came on, and continued Feverish, and Deced was
attended by Mr. Hanbury the Apothecary who sent
Medicines, which Deced was unwilling to take
Says that the Deced has been in the back Ward [..]
and was attended there by this Dept. Says that
the Deced has been worse ever since Yesterday
Morning, and Mr. Hanbury was called to him,
Says that the Deced goat worse and died this
Morning about half after One o'ClockSays that
Says that the Deced had the Goal Allowance daily and
the Governor gave Dept. Money to buy Nourishing
things for the Deced, Says that no Person used
the Deced ill in said Prison, and that he believes
the Deced died in a natural Way in said
Prison.
