in the County of Middlesex }

Informations taken this Seventh
day of January 1790 at Tothill Fields Brideway
in the Parish of St. Margaret within the Liberty
of Westmr. in the County of Midsex upon an
Inquisition touching the death of William
Besborough
< no role > a Prisoner lying dead in the
said Prison

Francis Leeke< no role > a Prisoner in Tothill Field
Bridewell on his Oath saith That he has
been Prisoner there about Ten weeks and
that William Besborugh< no role > the Deced was brought
a Pationer there about five weeks since appearing
to be in Health and continued so about
three weeks when he complained of a pain
in his Head and in a day or two was put
into the Sick Ward Says that the Apothecary
attended him and sent him Medicines
which he took, Says that he had a Fever
and Yesterday was much, worse and died
last Night about Eleven o'Clock, Says that the
Deced reced the Allowance of the House [..]
the Governor, who likewise ordered the Deced
some Broth, and frequently, gave Dept.
(who attended the Deced in the Sick Ward)
Money to buy Necessarys for the Deced
and Dept. bought Mutton to make Broth
and other Necessary things for the Deced
Says that the Deced was not ill used
by any Person in the Prison to Dept.
Knowledge, and belives that the Deced
died of the Fever, in a natural Way,
